God bless the Chocoreve blog. There’s a lot of garbage on the site (say, the 24th Australian psych comp you don’t need to hear) but then there’ll be a gem that just grabs me.
This audio clip is Roky Erickson from an International Artists compilation called "Epitaph for a Legend." Roky is certainly off his rocker and his knowledge about the Sex Pistols (certainly in the wake of their Texas visit that same year) is on par with somebody who’d never even heard of them….. fitting, huh?
I don’t know why I thought of posting this now…..it might have to do with the fact that I just got interviewed for a book somebody is writing about Cat Power.
